作为一所专注于医疗保健的大学, we find it essential to provide you with as many realistic, hands-on learning opportunities as possible before interacting with real patients. Our 跨专业学习中心 includes three fully equipped simulation rooms with control centers and recording capability, 四个设备齐全的检查室, 六张病床, and six exam areas with working headwalls and a nurse’s station. There are six high-fidelity mannequins - three adults, 一个婴儿和两个学步的孩子, as well as six medium-fidelity mannequins. All of the mannequins can simulate symptoms, diseases and conditions you are likely to see in a real health care setting allowing you to perform many common procedures such as starting an IV, 插入膀胱导尿管, 管理药物, completing a physical exam and treating wounds. The area features an operating room complete with overhead lighting and hospital-grade hand-washing sinks, 预制的家庭环境, and three classrooms with video technology. Also, you can work with the Anatomage Table, a fully segmented real human 3D anatomy system, to help with anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology related to the human body.
